Our Financials.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, APFE is committed to full transparency and accountability. We work closely with APS to ensure all funds are used in alignment with district priorities. Financial documents, including our annual report and Form 990, are available upon request.
Atlanta Partners for Education (APFE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the official foundation and fiscal agent for Atlanta Public Schools (APS). Since 1981, we have helped forge strong partnerships between APS and the broader community, uniting businesses, philanthropic leaders, and individuals to improve educational outcomes and equity.
Our mission is to build a bridge between the business community and Atlanta Public Schools through strategic partnerships, fundraising, and impactful initiatives. We secure and steward external funding for APS's most critical priorities, ensuring resources align with district-wide goals and student needs.
As a trusted connector and fiscal agent, APFE enables supporters to share their time, talent, and treasure with the school district in ways that are transparent, accountable, and meaningful. Every initiative we fund is measured by its ability to increase student achievement, elevate educators, and ensure access to enrichment opportunities.
We are proud to serve alongside APS to ensure all programs are responsive to student needs and integrated with district-wide strategies.
About Us.
